Location: Barford St Martin, 10 min from Salisbury

Accommodation: Four comfortable en-suite rooms available

Outdoor Areas: Large beer garden for drinks in the sunshine

“There's a palpable sense of history to this coaching inn, yet the en-suite rooms are in a separate, quiet building. The food leans toward traditional, homemade dishes that are served in a characterful bar. I particularly appreciate the large beer garden - a great spot in a picturesque village.”

The Barford Inn is often chosen for its convenient location when visiting Wilton House or Salisbury, and guests frequently enjoy the on-site private parking. Many appreciate the delicious food, especially the Sunday roast and gravy, and the available Christmas dinners with trimmings are often raved about. While some found the rooms a bit small, the pub's inviting atmosphere, sometimes featuring a log fire, generally adds to the positive experience.

mixed feelings about this stay

unwarm welcomepayment proof
the welcome was not warm at all. the person at the bar seemed bothered by our arrival. she also insisted we prove we had paid (it was quite annoying after a long trip).
